Musica launched a series of workshops at the Valkenhof refugee centre, Overpelt, at the end of May. Together with the residents, we focus on non-verbal musical communication.
Music is the way to connect. Hence the approach of the workshops: the sessions focus on meeting, musicality, sound art and expression. The connective project brings people together through playful and creative forms of work, where individual talents are discovered and used to build an inspiring ensemble.
