Germaine Kruip pays tribute to vanished ferry in Maasmechelen with the new, interactive sound sculpture “Reflection”.
On 24 August [postponed], Tom De Cock and Giulia Vismara will present a site-specific composition to sonically activate the sculpture.
[Note: this is a closed performance, after the 24th you can freely visit the installation]
The artwork will be along the embankment on the Meuse, between cycle junctions 50 and 56, about 1 km from the car ferry. The orange (10 km) and blue (5 km) walking routes of walking area Leut also pass here.
The performance & workshop are a coproduction of Musica and Z33, House for Contemporary Art, Design and Architecture.
